Honored for Motivation and Vision
Kim Kelly has been selected as one of the recipients for the 2018 Paul Gleason Lead by Example Award. Three individuals and one group from across the wildland fire service have been chosen to receive this national award.
Kim has been recognized for her strong leadership and unwavering pursuit to improve the health and safety of all Native American employees, especially Tribal employees. Her efforts to bring Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP) coverage to Tribal employees outside the scope of suppression is commendable and recognized by your peers through this award. Even though you know this is a challenging task, your determination to do the right action has not gone unnoticed. Additionally, you are commended for your professionalism and compassion given to individuals and families working through the administrative functions of health care. Your efforts are appreciated.
